Install Google Chrome on Usb Key


It not took long time for the browser Google be available on USB key. With a little developper group help, Google Chrome invite himself on your USB key as “Portable App” …

and now can be launched on any USB Mass Storage Support. It’s named Portable Google Chrome. The tips is on a modification of an executable : the ChromeLoader.exe who allow to call program on any directory other than normal install folder.

No installation needed, just extract and have fun. Apps have been tested on WIndows XP SP3 and VIsta SP1 and no bugs have been detected, other that Chrome actualy bug (it’s a beta app). All of this made 17,3 Meg (approximativly 50 Mo on key) and you can found it hereand enjoy Portable Google Chrome !

When downloading is done, just unzip it (choose USB folder) and run the ChromeLauncher.exe to have a functional Google Chrome.
